Hi, my name is Alex and I am the creator of Charter Life. Wherever I have lived in the world, indoor air health is something that has affected me for most of my life. Living my earliest years in the UK, I lived in an urban environment with countryside surroundings, green fields and crops. I had always suffered from eye allergies, throat allergies, sneezing, coughing, it was a real pain.
The exact source of my allergies were extremely difficult to identify. Most days, at different times, sometimes consistent and sometimes inconsistent, my eyes would become itchy, my throat would become closed, and at times, a point would come when the effects were quite extreme, I could barely see and I would have to just go to bed. I could also go to bed at night feeling just fine, but would wake up in the morning with swollen, red and itchy eyes, and it would sometimes ruin whatever I had planned for that day ahead – I couldn’t go and attend meetings or meet with clients.
For years, I have probably kept eyedrop and allergy tablet companies in business. I one-day moved to Spain, to a place surrounded by beautiful green mountains and fresh sea air, far less roads and traffic around, yet somehow my allergies continually persisted. Once again, I continued to take eyedrop and allergy tablets to try and offer myself some kind of relief.
One day, after searching on the internet, I did what no doctor had ever recommended me to do – I did some research into air purification systems, and I took a gamble as a last resort throw-of-the dice in the hope that something I had never tried could help. I was simply astonished and delighted with the results that followed, and have been ever since.
